Part of the site-based exploration team providing geological services for Lunnon Metals’ Nickel and Gold projects in Kambalda, ensuring the strategic objective of sustained resource growth was achieved. This included the supervision and management of Reverse Circulation (RC) and Diamond Drill (DD) rigs on salt lakes and land (pictured), making sure high-quality data were collected. DD core (lithology, structure, alteration, mineralisation) and RC chip logging and sampling from drilling programs were completed to improve the geological understanding of mineralisation controls, and help direct future activities. All data, observations and subsequent interpretations were compiled in internal reports. Relevant findings were also publicly presented to the geological community (e.g., Kambalda Symposium, 2022).
